- EDITLNG is still being tested. It works quite similarly to eSoft's
- EDLANG.EXE program. However, this program allows you to IMPORT and EXPORT
- files directly into EDITLNG so your .LNG file will be created with the
- changes. This can save hours of time. EDITLNG also allows importing of
- large files into a single record. These may be standard TXT, ANS,
- GRAPHICS, or RIP files. While inside EDITLNG you may:
-
- * USE ALT E to EXPORT a record to a text file.
- * USE ALT I to IMPORT a text file to a record.
- * USE ALT R to IMPORT the record to RIPAINT and back.
-
- By default EDITLNG.EXE uses LNG???.TXT as the record to filename.
-
- ALT R will send the record to RIPAINT so the RIP file can be edited
- with RIPAINT. However, if you wish to do this you need to have RIPAINT
- installed in this path:
-
- C:\RIPAINT\
-
- That's where it will be looking to send the RIP record. Once you save
- the RIP file and exit RIPAINT, you will automatically be returned to
- EDITLNG.EXE.
-
- We'd like your suggestions. See Tom and myself in Atlanta in August '94
- or give us a call at 503 697-7700, weekdays, PST.
-
- EDITLNG may be used as you wish on your system to edit language files. It
- may not be modified or changed in any manner. If you decide to use the
- program don't send money, just enjoy. The next version will cost you
- something anyway. I don't know when that will be.
